PIG INDUSTRY ACT 1986 No. 157, 1986 - SECT 62
Remuneration and allowances
62. (1) The Chairperson shall be paid such remuneration as is determined by
the Remuneration Tribunal, but, if no determination of that remuneration by
the Tribunal is in operation, the Chairperson shall be paid such remuneration
as is prescribed.
(2) A member of the Council (other than the Chairperson), the deputy of such a
member of the Council or a member of a working group is not entitled to
remuneration.
(3) A member of the Council or the deputy of a member of the Council shall be
paid such allowances as are prescribed in respect of the performance of his or
her functions as a member of the Council or as a member of a working group, or
as a deputy of a member of the Council.
(4) A member of a working group other than a member of the Council shall be
paid such allowances as are prescribed in respect of the performance of his or
her functions as a member of a working group.
(5) This section has effect subject to the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973,
other than sub-sections 7 (9) and (13) of that Act.
