PIG INDUSTRY ACT 1986 No. 157, 1986 - SECT 53

53. (1) There is established a council by the name of the Australian Pig
Industry Policy Council.

(2) The Council-

   (a)  is a body corporate with perpetual succession;

   (b)  shall have a common seal;

   (c)  may acquire, hold and dispose of personal property; and

   (d)  may sue and be sued in its corporate name.

(3) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial
notice of the imprint of the common seal of the Council affixed to a document
and shall presume that it was duly affixed.
