PETROLEUM AND MINERALS AUTHORITY ACT 1973 - NOTES
NOTE
1. Act No. 43, 1974; assented to 8 August 1974.
The Petroleum and Minerals Authority Act 1973 was held by the High Court not
to be a valid law of the Commonwealth. See State of Victoria and Another v.
Commonwealth of Australia and Another, State of New South Wales and Another v.
Commonwealth of Australia and Another, State of Western Australia v.
Commonwealth of Australia, and State of Queensland and Another v. Commonwealth
of Australia and Another; 49 A.L.J.R. 243.
