PATENTS ACT 1990 No. 83, 1990 - SECT 68

68. The term of a petty patent is:

   (a)  the period of 12 months beginning on the date of sealing of the
        patent; and

   (b)  if an extension of the term of the patent is granted - an additional
        period beginning on the day immediately following the end of that 12
        months' period and ending at the end of6 years after the date of the
        patent.
