OFFSHORE MINERALS ACT 1994 No. 28, 1994 - SECT 24

24.(1) For the purposes of this Act, recovery of minerals includes any
activity that is directly related to the recovery of minerals.

(2) For the purposes of this Act, recovery does not include the recovery of
minerals from the subsoil of a Commonwealth-State offshore area that is
carried out by means of underground mining from State land in accordance with
any law of the State governing mineral recovery.
