OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (COMMONWEALTH EMPLOYMENT) ACT 1991 No. 30, 1991 - SECT 64

Witness not to be prejudiced in employment
64. An employer must not:

   (a)  dismiss, or threaten to dismiss, an employee from his or her
        employment; or

   (b)  injure, or threaten to injure, an employee in his or her employment;
        or

   (c)  prejudice, or threaten to prejudice, an employee in his or her
        employment; because the employee:

   (d)  has appeared, or proposes to appear, as a witness at an inquiry; or

   (e)  has given, or proposes to give, any evidence at an inquiry.
Penalty: $3,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
