OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (COMMONWEALTH EMPLOYMENT) ACT 1991 No. 30, 1991 - SECT 59

Refusal to be sworn or to answer questions
59. A person appearing as a witness must not, without reasonable excuse:

   (a)  refuse or fail to comply with a requirement by a member of the
        Commission to be sworn or to make an affirmation; or

   (b)  refuse or fail to answer a question that he or she is required to
        answer by a member of the Commission; or

   (c)  refuse or fail to produce a document that he or she was required to
        produce by a summons served on him or her.
Penalty: $3,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
