OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (COMMONWEALTH EMPLOYMENT) ACT 1991 No. 30, 1991 - SECT 49

Liability of investigators 
49. An investigator is not subject to any civil liability in respect of any
act done, in good faith, in connection with:

   (a)  the conduct of an investigation by the investigator; or

   (b)  the exercise of any of his or her powers under this Part in relation
        to the investigation.
