An Act to Provide for the Appointment of a Commonwealth Ombudsman, and to
Define his Functions and Powers.

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and House of Representatives of the
Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:-

PART I-PRELIMINARY
1. This Act may be cited as the Ombudsman Act 1976.*1*
