Commonwealth Numbered Acts Commonwealth Numbered Acts(1) Section 18 of the Public Works Committee Act 1969 does not apply in relation to work that is proposed to be carried out on the following land:
(a) land covered by a lease granted under section 31;
(b) land in which a Commonwealth interest exists;
(c) land resumed or forfeited in accordance with Division 2 of this Part (other than land referred to in paragraph (1)(b)).
(2) Subsection (1) applies in relation to land referred to in paragraph (1)(c) only within the period of 5 years beginning on the day on which this section commences.
