NUCLEAR NON-PROLIFERATION (SAFEGUARDS) ACT 1987 No. 8, 1987 - SECT 3
Objects of Act
3. (1) The principal object of this Act is to give effect to certain
obligations that Australia has as a party to the Non-Proliferation Treaty, the
Agency Agreement and the prescribed international agreements.
(2) A further object of this Act is to give effect to certain obligations that
Australia has as a party to the Physical Protection Convention.
