NATIONAL HEALTH ACTS AMENDMENT ACT 1977 No. 100, 1977 - SECT 32

32. (1) The Principal Act is amended as set out in Schedule 2.

(2) Notwithstanding the amendments made by sub-section (1)-

   (a)  an approval of a form of agreement, being an approval in force under
        section 12 of the Principal Act immediately before the commencement of
        this section, continues in force as if it had been given under section
        12 of the Nursing Homes Assistance Act 1974;

   (b)  an agreement in force under section 15 of the Principal Act
        immediately before the commencement of this section continues in force
        as if it had been made under section 15 of the Nursing Homes
        Assistance Act 1974, and any reference in a form of agreement to which
        an approval referred to in paragraph (a) relates, or in an agreement
        to which paragraph (b) relates, to Australia shall be read as a
        reference to the Commonwealth.
