NATIONAL CRIME AUTHORITY ACT 1984 No. 41, 1984 - SECT 58

58. (1) The Minister may make an arrangement with the appropriate Minister of
the Crown of a State under which the State will, from time to time as agreed
upon under the arrangement, do either or both of the following:

   (a)  make available a person who is the holder of a judicial or other
        office, or persons who are the holders of judical or other offices, of
        the State to hold office as a member or members;

   (b)  make available a person who is an officer or employee of the State or
        of an authority of the State or a member of the Police Force of the
        State, or persons who are such officers, employees or members, to
        perform services for the Authority.

(2) An arrangement under sub-section (1) may provide for the Commonwealth to
reimburse a State with respect to the services of a person or persons to whom
the arrangement relates.
