Offences
81. (1) A person shall not refuse or fail, without reasonable excuse-
(a) to attend before the Director;
(b) to be sworn or make an affirmation; or
(c) to answer a question or produce a document or record, when so required
in pursuance of this Act.
Penalty: $1,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
(2) A person shall not furnish information or make a statement to the Agency,
a member or an authorized officer that is, to the knowledge of the person,
false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: $2,000 or imprisonment for 1 year, or both.
(3) A person shall not-
(a) obstruct or hinder the Agency or member or acting member in the
performance of the functions of the Agency; or
(b) disrupt a hearing of the Agency,
Penalty: $1,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
(4) An offence against sub-section (1), (2) or (3) is punishable on summary
conviction.
