MARITIME POWERS ACT 2013 (NO. 15, 2013) - SECT 97
Persons on, or from, detained vessels or aircraft taken to other places(1) If a person is detained and taken to another place under subsection 72(4) (persons on detained vessels and aircraft), the detention ends at that place.
(2) Subsection (1) does not prevent:
(a) the person being taken to different places on the way to the other place; or
(b) the arrest of the person; or
(c) the detention of the person under another Australian law; or
(d) the exercise of any other power in relation to the person.
