  1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Ministers of State Amendment Act 1985.
  (2) The Ministers of State Act 1952*1* is in this Act referred to as the
Principal Act.

  2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the
Royal Assent.

Salaries of Ministers

  3. Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "$610,000" and
substituting "$630,000".
