MEDICARE LEVY ACT 1985 No. 126, 1985 - SECT 11
Financial years for which levy is payable
11. (1) The levy imposed by this Act is levied, and shall be paid, for the
financial year that commenced on 1 July 1985.
(2) Until the Parliament otherwise provides, the levy imposed by this Act is
also levied, and shall be paid, for the financial year commencing on 1 July
1986.
