MINERALS (SUBMERGED LANDS) ACT 1981 No. 81, 1981 - SECT 5

Spaces above and below adjacent areas 
5. For the purposes of this Act and the regulations -

   (a)  the space above or below an adjacent area shall be deemed to be in
        that area; and

   (b)  the space above or below an area that is part of an adjacent area
        shall be deemed to be in that part.
