MEDICAL INDEMNITY ACT 2002 No. 132, 2002 - SECT 6
Member of an MDO
- (1)
- A person is a member of an MDO:
- (a)
- at all times when the person is a member of the MDO according to the MDO's
constitution; and
- (b)
- no matter how the person's membership is described.
- (2)
- Without limiting paragraph (1)(a), a person does not cease to be a
member of an MDO merely because some or all of the person's rights and
privileges as a member are suspended, have lapsed or have ceased.
- (3)
- Without limiting paragraph (1)(b), a person is a member of an MDO
even if the person is described by the MDO's constitution as:
- (a)
- an associate member; or
- (b)
- an honorary member; or
- (c)
- a non-financial member; or
- (d)
- a retired member; or
- (e)
- a student member.
