MEDICAL INDEMNITY ACT 2002 No. 132, 2002 - SECT 29
High cost claim threshold
- (1)
- The high cost claim threshold is:
- (a)
- $2 million; or
- (b)
- such other amount as is prescribed by the regulations.
- (2)
- Regulations that specify an amount of more than $2 million for the
purposes of paragraph (1)(b) must not take effect earlier than 12 months
after the day on which the regulations are notified in the Gazette .
