MIGRATION AMENDMENT ACT 1983 No. 112, 1983 - SECT 34

Proof of certain matters recited in deportation orders 

34. Section 55 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (1) (b)
and substituting the following paragraphs:

''(b) he is, or was at a particular time, a non-citizen;

   (ba) he was, at a particular time, being a time before the commencement of
        the Migration Amendment Act 1983, an alien within the meaning of this
        Act as in force at that time;''.
