2. Schedules 1 to 3 |
The later of: (a) the day after the end of the period of 6 months beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (b) the day on which the Convention on the Marking of Plastic Explosives for the Purpose of Detection, done at Montreal on 1 March 1991, comes into force for Australia. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. The Minister must announce by notice in the Gazette the day on which the Convention comes into force for Australia. |
