LANDS ACQUISITION (REPEAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1989 No. 21 OF 1989 - SECT 7

7. Where:

   (a)  before the repeal of the 1955 Act, the Commonwealth had entered into
        an agreement for the acquisition of land;

   (b)  the making of the agreement was authorised under section 7 of that
        Act; and

   (c)  on the repeal of the 1955 Act, the land had not been acquired; the
        1955 Act continues to apply to the acquisition of the land despite the
        repeal of the 1955 Act.
