LANDS ACQUISITION AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 61 of 1978 - SECT 4

4. Section 66A of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (1) and
substituting the following sub-section:

''(1) Subject to sub-section (2) and except as otherwise approved by the
Minister, the acquisition, including acquisition by agreement, of land
required for the purposes of-

   (a)  a corporation incorporated by a law of the Commonwealth or of a
        Territory other than the Northern Territory (whether made before or
        after the commencement of this section); or

   (b)  a corporation incorporated by a law of the Northern Territory (whether
        made before or after the commencement of this section), being a
        corporation declared by the regulations to be a corporation for the
        purposes of this paragraph, shall be effected under this Act.''.
