INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF PRISONERS ACT 1997 No. 75 of 1997 - SECT 29
29 Issue of warrant for transfer to Australia
The Attorney-General may issue a warrant, in the form prescribed by the
regulations, for the transfer of the prisoner from a transfer country to
Australia if the written consent of the prisoner or prisoner's representative
and the transfer country and appropriate Ministerial consent in writing to
transfer on the terms proposed by Australia have been given.
