INCOME TAX ASSESSMENT ACT 1975 No. 80 of 1975 - SECT 29

29. (1) Section 82AAA of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from
paragraph (b) of the definition of ''employee'' in sub-section (1) the words
''or a resident of Papua New Guinea''.

(2) The amendment made by sub-section (1) applies to assessments in respect of
income of years of income subsequent to the year of income in which Papua New
Guinea independence day occurs.
