INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES ACT 1976 No. 85 of 1976 - SECT 39

Arrangements by Board for carrying out industrial research on behalf of Commonwealth.
39. (1) Where the Minister is satisfied that it is in the public interest that
the Commonwealth should undertake a project of industrial research in a field
of science or technology, he may authorize the Board to make arrangements, on
behalf of the Commonwealth, for the carrying out of that project.

(2) Any arrangements made by the Board by virtue of sub-section (1) shall be
made in accordance with the directions of the Minister.
