INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT 1988 No. 86 of 1988 - SECT 26

26. (1) The President may grant leave of absence to a Commissioner on such
terms and conditions as to remuneration or otherwise as the President
determines.

(2) In determining the terms and conditions on which leave of absence is
granted to a Commissioner under subsection (1), the President shall have
regard to:

   (a)  any past employment of the Commissioner in the service of a State or
        an authority of a State; or

   (b)  any past service of the Commissioner as a member of an authority of a
        State.
