INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT 1988 No. 86 of 1988 - SECT 147

147. (1) An award shall specify the period for which the award is to continue
in force.

(2) In determining the period to be specified under subsection (1), the
Commission shall have regard to:

   (a)  the wishes of the parties to the industrial dispute concerned as to
        the period for which the award should continue in force; and

   (b)  the desirability of stability in industrial relations.
