INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT ACT 2002 No. 41, 2002 - SECT 3
Principal object of Act
- (1)
- The principal object of this Act is to facilitate compliance with
Australia's obligations under the Statute.
- (2)
- Accordingly, this Act does not affect the primacy of Australia's right to
exercise its jurisdiction with respect to crimes within the jurisdiction of
the ICC.
Note: The crimes within the jurisdiction of the ICC are set out as crimes in
Australia in Division 268 of the Criminal Code .
