INDUSTRY COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 9 of 1990 - SECT 29
Terms of appointment
29. (1) The Commissioners are to be appointed by the Governor-General on a
full-time basis.
(2) A Commissioner is to be appointed for such period, not exceeding5 years,
as is specified in the instrument of appointment, but is eligible
forre-appointment.
(3) A Commissioner holds office on such terms (if any) in respect of matters
not provided for by this Act as are determined by the Governor-General.
