INDUSTRIES ASSISTANCE COMMISSION ACT 1973 No. 169 of 1973 - SECT 9

9. (1) The Governor-General shall appoint a person who is, or is to be, a
Commissioner to be the Chairman of the Commission.

(2) It is the duty of the Chairman to ensure the efficient and orderly conduct
of the business of the Commission and, for that purpose, he has, in addition
to any other power, duty or function under this Act, power-

   (a)  to convene meetings of the Commission;

   (b)  to determine the form of the records of meetings of the Commission to
        be kept in accordance with this Act and the procedure to be adopted at
        such meetings; and

   (c)  to direct and control travel by Commissioners in connexion with their
        duties.

(3) A power of the Chairman under paragraph (2) (a) or (b) shall be exercised,
as far as practicable, only after consultation with the Commissioners.
