INDUSTRIES ASSISTANCE COMMISSION ACT 1973 No. 169 of 1973 - SECT 35
Failure of witness to attend.
35. A person served with a summons to appear as a witness at an inquiry by the
Commission shall not, without reasonable excuse-
(a) fail to attend as required by the summons; or
(b) fail to appear and report himself from day to day unless excused, or
released from further attendance, by the Commissioner presiding at the
inquiry.
Penalty: One thousand dollars or imprisonment for three months.
