HORTICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ACT 1987 No. 166 of 1987 - SECT 56

56. (1) The Executive Director may, either generally or as otherwise provided
by the instrument of delegation, by writing, delegate to an employee of the
Corporation all or any of his or her powers under this Act, other than this
power of delegation.

(2) A power delegated under subsection (1) shall, when exercised by the
delegate, be deemed to have been exercised by the Executive Director.

(3) The delegate is, in the exercise of a power delegated under subsection
(1), subject to the directions of the Executive Director.

(4) The delegation of a power under subsection (1) does not prevent the
exercise of the power by the Executive Director.
