HORTICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ACT 1987 No. 166 of 1987 - SECT 55

55. (1) The Corporation may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the
instrument of delegation, by writing under its common seal, delegate all or
any of its powers under this Act (other than this power of delegation) to:

   (a)  a committee of the Corporation;

   (b)  a member of the Corporation; or

   (c)  an employee of the Corporation.

(2) A power delegated under subsection (1) shall, when exercised by the
delegate, be deemed to have been exercised by the Corporation.

(3) The delegate is, in the exercise of a power delegated under subsection
(1), subject to the directions of the Corporation.

(4) The delegation of a power under subsection (1) does not prevent the
exercise of the power by the Corporation.
