HORTICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ACT 1987 No. 166 of 1987 - SECT 54

54. (1) The Corporation may establish committees to assist it in the
performance of its functions and the exercise of its powers.

(2) A committee may be constituted wholly by members of the Corporation or
partly by members of the Corporation and partly by other persons.

(3) The Corporation may fix the number of members of a committee required to
constitute a quorum at a meeting of the committee.

(4) Section 19 applies in relation to a member of a committee who is not a
member of the Corporation as if the member were a member of the Corporation.

(5) Section 22 applies in relation to a member of a committee as if:

   (a)  a reference to the Corporation were a reference to the committee; and

   (b)  a reference to a member of the Corporation were a reference to the
        member of the committee (whether or not the member of the committee is
        also a member of the Corporation).
