HORTICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ACT 1987 No. 166 of 1987 - SECT 33

33. (1) The Executive Director shall be appointed by the Corporation.

(2) The Chairperson, the government member or a nominated member of the
Corporation shall not be appointed as the Executive Director.

(3) The Corporation shall not appoint a person who has attained 65 years of
age as Executive Director.

(4) The appointment of a person as Executive Director is not invalid because
of a defect or irregularity in connection with the person's appointment.
