HORTICULTURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ACT 1987 No. 166 of 1987 - SECT 25

Meetings
25. (1) Subject to subsection (2), meetings of the Corporation shall be held
at such times and places as the Corporation from time to time determines.

(2) The Chairperson of the Corporation may at any time convene a meeting of
the Corporation.

(3) The Chairperson of the Corporation shall preside at all meetings of the
Corporation at which the Chairperson is present.

(4) If the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Corporation are not
present at a meeting of the Corporation, the members present shall appoint one
of their number to preside at the meeting.

(5) At a meeting of the Corporation:

   (a)  5 members constitute a quorum;

   (b)  a question shall be decided by a majority of the votes of the members
        present and voting; and

   (c)  the member presiding has a deliberative vote and, in the event of an
        equality of votes, also has a casting vote.

(6) The Corporation shall keep minutes of its proceedings.

(7) The Corporation may invite a person to attend a meeting for the purpose of
advising or informing it on any matter.
