HEALTH LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1985 No. 167 of 1985 - SECT 4

4. Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended -
(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) the definitions of "approved
    bank" and "Chairman" and substituting the following definition:


"'Chairperson' means the Chairperson of the Commission, and
includes a Commissioner acting as Chairperson under section
11;";

   (b)  by omitting from sub-section (1) the definition of "Director" and
substituting the following definition:

"'Managing Director' means the person appointed under section
23 to be the Managing Director of the undertaking known
as the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, and includes a
person acting as Managing Director under section 23C;";

   (c)  by omitting from sub-section (1) the definition of "technical
assistance" and substituting the following definitions:

"'shares', in relation to a body corporate, means shares in the
capital of the body corporate, and includes stock; 'technical assistance'
includes -

   (a)  the supply of information, equipment, products and
training; and

   (b)  the secondment of personnel;"; and

   (d)  by omitting from sub-section (1) the definition of "Vice-Chairman"
and substituting the following definition:

"'Vice-Chairperson' means the Vice-Chairperson of the
Commission, and includes a Commissioner acting as Vice-
Chairperson under section 11.".
