Health Legislation Amendment Act 1982 No. 49 of 1982 - SECT 39

39. (1) Where a matter was referred to a Medical Services Committee of Inquiry
by the Minister before the amendments of the Principal Act made by sections 15
to 25 (inclusive) and 34 of this Act come into force, the provisions of the
Principal Act to which those amendments relate continue to apply to and in
relation to that matter as if those amendments had not been made.

(2) Where a matter was referred to an Optometrical Services Committee of
Inquiry by the Minister before the amendments of the Principal Act made by
sub-section 12 (2) and sections 13, 14, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34 and 36 of
this Act come into force, the provisions of the Principal Act to which those
amendments relate continue to apply to and in relation to that matter as if
those amendments had not been made.

(3) The reference in section 106G of the Principal Act as amended by this Act
to a determination under section 106FK shall be taken to include a reference
to a determination made by the Minister under section 23C of the Principal Act
as that section continues to apply by virtue of the operation of sub-section
(2).
