HIGHER EDUCATION FUNDING LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1994 No. 147 of 1994 - SECT 8

8.(1) Section 103 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (2)
and substituting the following subsection:



"(2) The standard study load of an eligible client of the Agency in respect of
a semester for which the client enrols for the purposes of the course of study
undertaken by him or her is the number of units of study that, together with
the number of units of study (if any) for which he or she was enrolled for the
purposes of the course for the previous semester, equals 8.".

(2) The amendment made by subsection (1) applies to an eligible client of the
Agency in respect of the first semester for which he or she enrols after the
commencement of this section and in respect of all later semesters.
