HIGHER EDUCATION FUNDING LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1994 No. 147 of 1994 - SECT 10

10. Section 106 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (1) and
substituting the following subsection:



"(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Agency may not require an eligible client
to pay the basic charge in respect of a unit of study for which the client has
enrolled in a study period for the purposes of an approved course of study if,
on the census date for the semester in which the study period is included, the
client is participating in the deferred payment scheme provided under this
Chapter.".
