An Act to make provision in relation to the evidence that may be given in
certain foreign proceedings, to provide a right of action in Australia in
respect of the enforcement outside Australia of certain foreign judgments, and
for related purposes

1. This Act may be cited as the Foreign Proceedings (Excess of Jurisdiction) 
Act 1984 .
