Freedom of Information Amendment Act 1983 No. 81 of 1983 - SECT 35

35. Section 60 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from paragraph (a) ''and''; and

   (b)  by omitting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:

''(b) in proceedings by virtue of section 56, the agency or Minister to which
or to whom the request was made shall be a party to the proceedings; and

   (c)  in proceedings for the determination of a question referred to in
        sub-section 58 (4), (5) or (5A) in relation to a document, the
        Minister who is the appropriate Minister for the purposes of section
        58A in respect of that document shall, upon application to the
        Tribunal, be entitled to be a party to the proceedings.''.
