Certain periods to be disregarded for the purposes of section 19


15. Section 31 of the Principal Act is amended-

         (a)  by omitting from sub-section (1) ''prescribed period'' (first
occurring) and substituting ''relevant period'';

         (b)  by omitting from sub-section (1) ''prescribed period'' (second
occurring) and substituting ''relevant period''; and

   (c)  by omitting sub-section (2).
