EXCISE TARIFF VALIDATION ACT 1980 No. 153 of 1980 - SECT 4
Validation of collections pursuant to Gazette notices
4. All duties of Excise demanded or collected, before the commencement of this
Act, pursuant to Notices published in the Gazette in accordance with section
160B of the Excise Act 1901 on 30 June 1980, shall be deemed to have been
lawfully imposed and lawfully demanded or collected.
