ENDANGERED SPECIES PROTECTION ACT 1992 No. 194 of 1992 - SECT 51

51. The Director may, on the Commonwealth's behalf, enter into an agreement,
with a person who has an interest in a Commonwealth area, for the conservation
and management of:

   (a)  any listed native species or listed ecological communities that occur
        in the Commonwealth area; or

   (b)  any areas within the Commonwealth area that are habitats for such
        species or communities.
Note: "Interest in a Commonwealth area" is defined in section 9.
