ENDANGERED SPECIES PROTECTION ACT 1992 No. 194 of 1992 - SECT 22

22.(1) The Minister must not add a native species to Part 3 of Schedule 1
unless the Minister is satisfied that the species is presumed extinct.

(2) The Minister must not delete a native species from Part 3 of Schedule 1
unless the Minister is satisfied that the species is no longer presumed
extinct.
Note: "Presumed extinct" is defined in section 8.
