EXPORT MARKET DEVELOPMENT GRANTS ACT 1974 No. 154 of 1974 - SECT 11

11. A reference in this Act to a resident of Australia is a reference to-

   (a)  a person, other than a company or a partnership, who resides in
        Australia;

   (b)  a person, other than a company or a partnership, whose domicile is in
        Australia, unless the Board is satisfied that his permanent place of
        abode is outside Australia;

   (c)  a company which is incorporated in Australia, or which, not being
        incorporated in Australia, carries on business in Australia and has
        either its central management and control in Australia or its voting
        power controlled by shareholders who are residents of Australia; or

   (d)  a partnership which carries on business in Australia, and a reference
        to a person resident outside Australia shall be construed accordingly.
