EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACT 1988 No. 80 of 1988 - SECT 8

Directions and guidelines in relation to performance of functions

8. (1) The Minister may, in writing, give directions or set out guidelines
regarding the broad social, economic and budgetary priorities to be taken into
account by the Board in the performance of its functions and the Board shall
follow any such directions or guidelines as existing from time to time.

(2) The Minister shall, as soon as practicable, cause a copy of any directions
or guidelines given under subsection (1) to be laid before each House of the
Parliament.
